Originally Wreaths were made from wheat or other harvested plants and were called harvest wreaths. The harvest wreath would be hung year-round & it was hoped that this ritual would bring protection against crop failure through-out that year. In modern times wreaths begun to be made from Rope to symbolise the strength of a family & also hung year-round in hope that protection was offered to the family of the house it hung on. 

These wreaths are designed for indoor use but can be used outdoor with care. Avoid any area that will be exposed to direct sunlight, wind or rain. Excessive humidity and moisture will cause mould and mildew.
